New styles for Jeroboams The Jeroboams Group has taken on a new UK agency from South Africa. The Diemersdal Estate in Durbanville is owned by the fifth and sixth generations of the Louw family, who took ownership of the 180 h a estate in 1885. The wines will be available to purchase from the end of February with tastings in Jeroboams shops during March. Included in the portfolio is a Sauvignon Blanc/Chenin Blanc blend (AGBP6.35), an unoaked Chardonnay ( AGBP12), a Pinotage (AGBP11.75) and Bordeaux blend the Diemersdal Private Collection (AGBP13.45).
Company overhaul for KWV KWV has sold its German subsidiary, Eggers & Franke, to Racke of Germany. The deal forms part of the new commercial strategy set out by KWV chief executive Thys Loubser, which has included changes to company structure and the management team. The new entity will be known as Racke/Eggers & Franke and will be based in Bremen. The deal will create an expanded product and distribution base in Germany and Europe for KWV's portfolio.
