Thresher Group could follow rival retailer Castel around the UK, opening branches of Wine Rack in locations where there is a Nicolas , OLN has learned .
The tactic is one possible strategy under discussion as part of the Thresher Group's business review, which is looking at the positioning of all its fascias. The review should be completed by Christmas.
The specialist is also selling 45 off-licences as part of its regular branch monitoring process.
