Clink! Wines' feminine touch Former Orbital Wines marketing manager Catherine Monahan has established a new agency business called Clink! Wines. The company, based in London's Knightsbridge, will be unveiling a French wine at the London International Wine Fair and will focus primarily on female consumers in the off-trade.
Organic rum launched The Organic Spirits Company has launched what it says is the world's first organic Fairtrade golden rum. Papagayo is a single estate rum distilled from organically-grown sugar cane harvested on a farming project in a remote region of Paraguay. Managing director Chris Parker said: "Papagayo offers the smoothness of a much older golden rum." Crabbie's turns up the heat Halewood International aims to reposition Crabbie's Green Ginger Wine as a long summer drink with a Scottish promotional and advertising programme offering AGBP1 off the retail price. A contest also offers a chance to win a lesson at the Nick Nairn Cook School. The push will be extended across the rest of the UK later in the year.
