Sales up at Select & Save Convenience fascia group Select & Save has grown its alcohol sales by 33 per cent in the third quarter of 2007, compared to 2006, while overall like-for-like sales grew by 10.8 per cent. Select & Save has embarked on an aggressive programme of price cuts and promotions in a bid to beat the multiple grocers and arch-rival Bargain Booze. Tobacco sales dropped 2.3 per cent in the same period.
