A crack tasting team , chaired by OLN wine editor at large Tim Atkin MW and including buyers from retailers such as Tesco, Waitrose, Majestic and Oddbins, has picked the 2008 Top 100 Vins de Pays .
Wines from the south of France dominated the trophy list, with Vin de Pays d'Oc wines taking six of 14 trophies, alongside two Vins de Pays des CAtes de Gascogne and a Vin de Pays des CAtes du Tarn.
Domaine Philippe Nusswitz's Miratus 2005 Vin de Pays d'Oc was named Best Red in Show, while Marks & Spencer's Grenache Blanc 2007 Vin de Pays d'Oc, made by Vins de Vin, took the award for Best White. …
