Usti nad Labem/Prague, Sept 21 (CTK) - Czech chemical company Spolchemie has agreed with Hexion Specialty Chemicals (HSC) of the USA to buy epoxide resin plants of its division Hexion Specialty Epoxy in Germany and America, CTK has learnt. The plants in Duisburg and Stuttgart in Germany and in Argo, Illinois, and Nork, Louisiana, and a research centre in Houston, Texas, will be bought by CHS Resins, a newly set up unit of Spolchemie. Both firms signed a contract on conditions of the sale, Jan Sotona, spokesman for Via Chem Group which is a majority shareholder of Spolchemie, told CTK today.
