(From Hull Daily Mail)
The great thing about a Challenge Cup final is that anything can happen.
That sentiment was echoed by Hull FC fans as they made their way to Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
It didn't matter they were preparing to watch their club - next-to-bottom in the league and undoubtedly considered the underdogs - take on St Helens, who were looking to make it a hat-trick of Challenge Cups.
What mattered was keeping the faith and the black and white army held on to this throughout the big final.
As thousands of fans made their way up Wembley Way under the blistering heat of the midday sun, the air was dominated by the sound of the song synonymous with Hull FC, Old Faithful - peppered with chants of "come on you 'ull".
From men in Hull FC kits and women with moustaches to families in wigs and children covered in face paint, all were determined to come away with a smile on their faces and enjoy the whole Wembley experience, no matter what happened on the pitch.
