Saturday Oct 30: Thousands of residents are being advised to boil their tap water to rid it of a foul smell.

Unfortunately, my water bill is around GBP300 per year; I don't know how they reach the lowly average figure of GBP150, probably including the many single/small households that use a meter.

On page 3 of the same newspaper it states the average bill is GBP150 a year. This equates to 41p a day.

Therefore they must now accept any costs that consumers have to use to make their water product palatable, as well as confirm in the press that Laboratory assessment confirms ...
