A LIFE LESS ORDINARY

There has yet to be an article on Gwyneth Paltrow ["Gwyneth's Guide to Life," by Plum Sykes, photographed by Mario Testino, May] that I haven't found enthralling--whether it's on her organic Earth Mama image or her glamorous Hollywood style. Plum Sykes did an excellent job of describing Gwyneth's ability to juggle everything. Now whenever I feel less than fetching, I'll remember Gwyn in her sloppy ponytail and worn-in Juicy Couture tank. Even in the frumpiest of getups, Gwyneth must have had that signature look of grace and utter tranquillity that she always displays on the red carpet. This casual expose was a lovely balance of girly gossip and impeccable journalism.

SUPERSTAR

I was blown away by the "Making Headlines" shoot, featuring Tom Welling [May]. Photographer Steven Meisel and Fashion Director Tonne Goodman created a masterpiece with their vision for this comic book--inspired fashion story. The photos gave Welling fans a chance to see him wearing beautiful suits in the perfect scenarios. What a classy and elegant pictorial for an equally classy and elegant man! To quote Welling, I was swept "up and away."
