The following excerpts are the first in our series from the memoirs of Albert Sack. Like all members of the Sack family beginning with his father, Israel (1883-1959), Albert Sack is known for the integrity, passion, and expertise with which he has pursued his calling in the antiques business. His family's long history of championing early American furniture and decorative arts is an important chapter in American history, and we are especially pleased to publish Albert Sack's contribution to that chapter.
