On a night in May, Sarah Ridgeway and her prom date, Andrew Voiles, of Brownsburg, Indiana, were as excited as any young couple going to the prom. After posing for photos at Sarah's house, they left for Andrew's to take more pictures. As they headed toward the Voiles' home on County Road 1000 North, however, they noticed an older couple in obvious distress.
"We got to a median and this lady's in the middle of the road waving her arms," Andrew related to WTHR News 13 (Indianapolis). "I turn around and I look back and there's this guy laying with his feet in the car but his body down on the slope of the ground in the grass"
Though Andrew had told Sarah to stay in the car, she promptly took off her high heels and ran across the road to assist the man. "I just immediately went down by the head and was checking for a pulse," she said. As ...
