Serenade Foods frozen, stuffed raw chicken breasts and Malt-O-Meal puffed rice and puffed wheat cereals are the latest products to raise concern about contamination with salmonella. The chicken items include "Cordon Bleu" and "Buffalo style" breasts sold under the brand names Milford Valley Farms, Dutch Farms, and Kirkwood. Packages have date code C8021 and were sold in stores in Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, North Dakota, Vermont, and Wisconsin. At least two illnesses have been linked to the chicken.

When cooking poultry, always follow package instructions, and heat it to a minimum internal temperature of 165[degrees] F to destroy foodborne bacteria.
