The University of Scranton is suing a sports bar across the street from the school to block a proposed expansion.

The $1.5 million sports bar, Goodfellas, is seeking a 2,500 square foot expansion, hoping to add pool tables, more taps and a DJ booth. The Jesuit school with 4,000 students thinks the expansion would promote underage and excessive drinking, citing data on many college towns that have moved to limit the access to alcohol off-campus.
