A top proponent of diversity in higher ed accused her colleagues of covering up for their colleges at the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in American Higher Education.
"Diversity has created jobs for all of us," said Dr. Evelyn Hu-DeHart, director of the Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in America at Brown University RI.
"As long as we keep doing our job the way we are told to do it, we are covering up for universities," she told her audience. "You are all covering up. You are all complicit in this."
