Alcohol abuse on campus is costing schools more than just bad press. Many are paying for investigations, services and legal settlements as a result of student drinking:

* Fairleigh Dickinson University NJ must pay $260,000 to a student's parents after the student fell from a dorm window to his death while drunk. The parents' lawyer claimed the school failed to enforce its drinking policies.
