Fresno agrees to pay ex-coach $9 million.(NEWSWATCH)
Sex discrimination against a former Fresno State University basketball coach will cost the school $9 million, after the two sides reached a settlement of her 2005 lawsuit.
After a dramatic eight-week trial, a jury had awarded Stacy Johnson-Klein $19.1 million in December, but the judge reduced it to $6.6 million plus $2.5 million in attorney's fees. Both sides appealed and have been negotiating.
