EIPP/EBPP is the sending and receiving of digital invoices and payments. The acronyms stand for Electronic Invoice Presentment and Payment and Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment. Typically EIPP refers to commercial or B2B transactions, while EBPP refers to consumer or B2C transactions.

How Does it Work?

Billing information is generated by the seller and transmitted to the buyer. The information references purchase order numbers, shipment detail, pricing and terms.
