This fall, the actress continues her role as a superstrong woman with multiple personalities on NBC's Heroes. In 2009, she costars with Beyonce in the film Obsessed . Mother's Day: Although her face was bare, Larter was wearing silver Gucci pumps, Balenciaga trousers, a Calvin Klein tee, and a Prada coat. On her arm was her equally well-dressed mother, Margaret. "I've learned to look good around Ali," Mrs. Larter said, explaining a TV appearance with her daughter on Rachael Ray, during which she was pulled on stage. Model Behavior: Larter, a former teen model, was eager to pose like a supermodel for allure . "A lot of women couldn't pull off these clothes, but Ali was perfect," said allure creative director Paul Cavaco. Although she was full of energy, Larter had forgotten how exhausting modeling could be. "Paul was right when he said he'd make me work for it!" she said. Tasty Delights: When the caterers began clearing away lunch, Larter grabbed a spoonful of cheesecake. After the shoot, she was heading to Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill for oysters, then to Babbo for dinner. The Calvinist: For the cover shot, Larter wore a Calvin Klein Collection dress that she loved so much, she wanted to buy it. (The publicity director of Calvin Klein was happy to give it to her.) "I'm wearing this dress to every wedding I go to this summer," the actress said. "It's the most comfortable thing I own."
