Sage acquires CQ's book publishing arm

Academic publisher Sage has acquired CQ Press, the book-publishing unit of Washington-based firm Congressional Quarterly.
Times Publishing, which owns Congressional, had announced its plans to sell the book-publishing arm earlier this year.
CQ Press serves the library, college and professional markets, publishing 100 titles a year, mostly textbooks and reference books in political science and mass communication.
