Matt Kreft's two-run homer over the right-field fence gave Port Charlotte a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Nick Agosto got things started for the Nationals with a one-out walk.

Port Charlotte used the long ball again in the third inning to open up a 3-1 lead. This time, it was Agosto hitting a solo home run over the right- field fence.

Cape Coral took a 4-3 lead in the fifth inning. Jason Pickett started the rally with a two-out RBI single. That gave Cape Coral its first lead of the night. …
