As state lawmakers continue to wrangle over how to fund public schools for the next two years, the Clark County School District faces two financial certainties.
The first: Under the current funding formula, Clark County will get less state revenue per student than any other Nevada school district.
The second: That's not likely to change anytime soon.
Clark County School District leaders lamented that inequity during the build-up to this legislative session. They continue to do so as state lawmakers struggle to reach consensus on budget issues that center largely on education funding.
