Mentha oil up 3 pc at MCX

New Delhi, July 1 (PTI) -- Continuing its upward march for the second day in a row today, mentha oil prices shot up by another 3 per cent in early trade in the futures market on speculative buying amid reports of damage to its crop in producing region of Uttar Pradesh.

At 1230 hrs on Multi Commodity Exchange all the running four contracts - July, August, September and October - were trading in positive zone with a gain of almost 3 per cent.

Traders said reports of damage to mentha crop due to heavy rainfall …
