JAPAN ORGANO TO DOUBLE CHINA CAPACITY FOR WATER-PURIFYING RESIN.
TOKYO, July 1 Asia Pulse - Organo Corp. (TSE:6368) is doubling its capacity in China to regenerate ion exchange resin beads used in its pure water production systems.
Pure water that has been processed to remove various ions is used to cool the boilers at thermal power plants and as a cleaning solvent in the semiconductor manufacturing process. The ions are removed using beads of a special ion exchange resin packed inside a container. After a certain amount of use, these beads begin to lose their cleaning ability and must be regenerated through chemical treatments.
