WORLD BANK TO FUND ICADR PLAN TO TRAIN MEDIATORS: LAW MINISTER.
NEW DELHI, June 30 Asia Pulse - The World Bank has agreed to provide funds to the Indian capital-based International Centre of Alternative Disputes Resolution (ICADR) for preparing a business plan and training mediators for settlement of commercial disputes, Law Minister H R Bhardwaj said on Monday.
"The permanent court of arbitration is also considering establishment of its facility in India to cater to the needs of South Asian countries," the minister said, adding that recent legal reforms will provide comfort to investors in India that their commercial disputes will be resolved faster.
