We all know the academic workplace brings its own set of peculiarities. Working with such intelligent people in such close proximity for such long durations is bound to take a toll, often manifested as stress from dealing with all of the personalities. But what if there was a way to manage these interactions?

One of the newest buzzwords in interpersonal studies is Emotional Intelligence, or EI Most leaders have high levels of it, and unlike IQ (intelligence quotient), it can be learned and developed. And it just could be the key for getting through your day with your sanity intact, or for making real changes on campus.
