The 2008 winners of the MTNA-PTG Scholarships are Autumn Zander, who received the MTNA-PTG Continuing Education and/or Performance Study scholarship, and Tanya Brooks, who received the MTNA-PTG Recreational Music Making Workshop scholarship.

Zander, NCTM, is a piano instructor at St. Joseph's School of Music in St. Paul, Minnesota. Holding a bachelor's of music degree from Lawrence University and a master's of music degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she teaches private piano lessons to students elementary school aged to adults. Zander has previously been honored with the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council/McKnight Emerging Artist Grant.
