The furniture of John Erhart Rose.("FIRST RATE & FASHIONABLE")(Biography)
Fanny Kemble (1809-1893), the renowned English, actress traveling in the American South in 1838, could well have been describing a piece of furniture by the cabinetmaker John Erhart Rose when she wrote in her diary:
