Washington, D.C. Washington, D.C. Washington, D.C. - In the run-up to debate on the Warner-Lieberman-Boxer "global warming" bill - ultimately killed by filibuster last week - the U.S. Chamber of Commerce attacked the bill as too reliant on regulatory approaches and technologically unsustainable.
At a June 3 press conference here, the Chamber's Vice President of Environment, Technology, and Regulatory Affairs William Kovacs said that tackling climate change requires a global scope and a serious energy mix transformation.
