Both behavioral and medical care play a significant role in an individual's ability to recover and should be considered as equal partners in the treatment process, Charles Curie, former administrator of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), said last week during Magellan Health Services, Inc.'s annual clinical management meeting.
