In past CALI Diary installments, I've discussed putting together my exercise: selecting the information to include, organizing that information, creating an outline, submitting the proposal for approval, writing the text, deciding when to include a question, and other standard components. In this installment, I want to focus less on those basics and more on how creative you can be as you finish your first draft, and ultimately your exercise.
I personally like to make use of variety wherever and whenever I can, and CALI provides numerous opportunities to add a little color to an exercise: different types of questions, images, pop-up windows of text or images, sound, video ...
