NEW DELHI, May 31 Asia Pulse - India's Central Sales Tax (CST), a levy on inter-state sale of goods, will be reduced to 2 per cent from 3 per cent from midnight on Saturday.
Department of Revenue has issued a notification to bring into effect from June 1, 2008, the new reduced rate of CST of 2 per cent on inter-state sales of goods.
