Agostino (Tino) Cannavino, ITCAN's assistant manager, credit and corporate disbursements, has received a major award from one of Canada's most prestigious professional institutes in recognition of the part he played in ITCAN's monumental move to Direct-to-Store Sales (DSS).

The title of Credit Personality of the Year was bestowed on Tino by the Montreal chapter of the Credit Institute of Canada at a lavish ceremony held at the city's Intercontinental Hotel on November 24. More than 120 members of the institute attended the event. Tino is the first-ever recipient of the newly established award.

In his acceptance speech Tino paid tribute to the more than 30 colleagues from ITCAN's credit department who worked on DSS. In the space of six weeks Tino led a team that granted credit limits, set up accounts in SAP and obtained credit reports on the more than 30,000 new customers. He also helped ...
