Best known as the studio and tour keyboardist for hip-hop legends Beastie Boys, multi-instrumentalist Mark Ramos-Nishita has carved a niche as a session keyboard contributor with numerous art rock-jazz outfits (such as Banyan and the Omar Rodriguez-Lopez Quintet), as well as an impressive career as a soloist. Brand New by Tomorrow is his eighth solo effort and first for guitarist/filmmaker Jack Johnson's Brushfire Records after a fruitful stretch at the Mo'Wax imprint.
