Byline: BY CHRISTOPHER RENSTROM

Since Jupiter and Mercury turn retrograde this month, this is not the time to launch new projects. If you can, try to wait until after July 1st. However, this is the perfect period to give things in your past another chance. Whether it's a job or an old flame, you'll find success the second time around. Famous Taureans: Cate Blanchett (right), Tina Fey, and Penelope Cruz. Signs most affected: Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.

Taurus (April 19-May 19)

This is an important birthday month for you. You'll feel a surge in energy on the 5th when you suddenly start to make headway with a stalled project. On the 21st, expect to get praise from a superior when it turns out to be a success. There's a promotion and a raise in your near future.

Gemini (May 20-June 19)

Geminis are good multitaskers, and you'll have to be on the 3rd, when a loved one needs your advice. A few weeks later, you'll have to solve a financial problem caused by planetary aspects on the 18th and 21st. By the end of the month you'll have a thankful relative--and a bigger bank account.

Cancer (June 20-July 21)
