Pod first for the Library 2.0 Gang
Kim Thomas
The Library 2.0 Gang, a group of prominent names in the library world, has embarked on a series of podcasts on topics of interest to librarians.
The eight regular gang members include John Blyberg of Darien Library, Char Booth of Ohio University and Nicole Engard from LibLime.
The podcasts are hosted by Richard Wallis, technology evangelist at software provider Talis, which is producing the shows.
The podcasts will be broadcast monthly, with a different guest each month. The guest in the March launch show was the Open Library's Aaron Swartz, and Google product manager Frances Haugen featured in the second show.
