BANDAR ANZALI, Gilan prov, May 1 Asia Pulse - Exports in Iran's Gilan province increased by 26 per cent in Farvardin, the first month of the Iranian year, from March 20 to April 19.

Announcing this on Tuesday, a supervisor at the provincial customs office noted that some 44,699 tons of commodities, worth of US$24.1 million, were exported during the period.

"The said figure showed a 26-per cent increase compared to the figure for the same month last year," Gholamhossein Nouhi said.
