Newly minted BAFTA winner Tilda Swinton has a penchant for making intriguing choices in both film and fashion--with often entrancing results.

With the Titian-red hair, lint-white skin, and aristocratically angular features of an Elizabethan miniature, Tilda Swinton' s physical presence has always set her apart from the crowd, and so has her highly individual sense of style. Married to her distinguished looks is a searching intelligence that has always led her to take risks in her roles, from her earliest performances in the provocative films of Derek Jarman to her latest, as the unconscionable lawyer Karen Crowder in Tony Gilroy' s Michael Clayton.
