Eyes are the windows to the (yawn) soul. The mouth is the window to much more sensual revelations. Women color their lips accordingly, and with that in mind, we asked stars at a G&P Foundation for Cancer Research benefit, a Victoria's Secret party, and a Louis Vuitton event about what they put on their mouths.
Molly Sims doesn't gloss or paint--she stains: "Tarte or Vincent Longo, a berry stain." Rashida Jones fills in her lips with a "great Nars Pencil called Cruella. It's like color-by-numbers." Kimora Lee Simmons likes it shiny, but "not too, too much. It makes you unkissable and sticky."
Several celebrities take the maxim of "no pain, no gain" to unexpected levels. Donatella Versace says, "I scrub my lips and exfoliate them" before putting on lipstick. Actress Mamie Gummer, Meryl Streep's daughter, has a novel approach to filling out her mouth: "I have chapped lips, and I'm psyched about it. They look very voluminous and swollen and kind of painful--but totally hot."
