Rachel Bilson leaves The O.C. behind to star in Doug Liman's time-traveling thriller Jumper.
Although Rachel Bilson can trace her family's Hollywood lineage back to the twenties (her great-grandfather headed the trailers department at RKO Pictures), the 26-year-old didn't find her own place until she landed the role of Summer Roberts on the obsession-inspiring TV series The O.C. When the series ended last year, Bilson's reputation as a strong, adventurous, and unpredictable teenager followed her. "I don't know if I would say I was a wild child," the actress says with a laugh. "But I do feel I had a lot of experiences and encountered things very early in life."
