Let me be clear: The ponytail-through-a-baseball-cap look is the worst hairstyle ever invented, but still, some of my favorite looks for the winter involve hats. It can be incredibly sexy when a girl wears a low bun or a relaxed side ponytail with a hat obscuring her eyes. I especially love the look of a floppy hat with jeans, or a fedora with a tailored jacket and wide-leg pants. However, a lot of people stop there and believe they don't have to deal with their hair when they wear a hat. It's the exact opposite: When you're wearing any kind of hat, you should pay extra attention to the hair that falls below it. The right style can look like you're showing off your hat, not hiding your hair.
