Nancy Hogshead-Makar--a gender-equity law professor, rape victim and Olympic medalist--is the University of Colorado's new Title IX adviser.
UC created the new position as part of the settlement from a 2001 case in which two CU students claimed they were raped at an off-campus party for football recruits by CU football players. The resulting scandal resulted in the departure of school's system president, Boulder campus chancellor, AD and football coach.
