In December 2007, the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) held the First Congress of the Members in the Great Hall of the People in which more than 500 representatives from various industries attended. In its First Council Meeting, the CCOIC elected King Wai Chan, FCIB (China) chairman, chaiman of China King Wai Holdings Co., Ltd. as the acting chairman of CCOIC and The Affiliate of International Chamber of Commerce in China (ICC China).
