Oscar Peterson, one of the world's best known jazz pianists, died in January at age 82 in Mississauga, Ontario, the Toronto suburb where he lived.
During a career spanning seven decades, Peterson played with some of the biggest names in jazz, including Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basle and Dizzy Gillespie. He also toured in a trio with Ray Brown and Herb Ellis in the 1950s.
