In recent issues you have had compelling articles on the false fear of global warming. I find it interesting, and disturbing, to recognize that environmentalists' thoughts on the topic echo Paul Kurtz's Humanist Manifesto 2000: A Call for a New Planetary Humanism.

Humanist Manifestos I & H, the delineation of a new human-centered religion, clearly eliminate God from any consideration. And the 2000 text similarly states: "The realities of the global society are such that only a new Planetary Humanism can provide meaningful directions of the future." Notice the ideological overlap from Kurtz's book:
