Reallusion recently unveiled Version 5 of CrazyTalk, software for creating a talking character from a digital photo or image. With CrazyTalk, novices and experienced users can create lifelike digital puppet performances for films, Web videos, podcasts, blogs, machinima, and classroom projects, all in real time, as their lip movement is automatically synchronized to recorded audio.

The character animation feature has been enhanced in the new version to add more personality and emotive control. When combined with CrazyTalk 5's real-time puppeteering panel, users can perform character animation and record their mouse movements, resulting in facial motion-capture control using any mouse or human interface device.
