AUSTRALIA'S WESTPAC BANK HIKES VARIABLE RATE TO 9.37 PCT
SYDNEY - Australia's Westpac Banking Corporation Ltd (ASX:WBC) has raised its standard variable home loan rate by 10 basis points to 9.37 per cent as a result of the global liquidity crisis.
The new rate will apply from next Wednesday, April 2.
