Whistle-blower exposes nuclear smuggling ring.(Inside Track)(Sibel Edmonds)(Brief article)
Sibel Edmonds, a former paid Turkish language translator for the FBI, has just gone public with a tale of an international nuclear smuggling ring that has been operating successfully inside the United States. Edmonds gave her information in a closed session of Congress and to the 9/11 Commission, but nothing came of it. The Ashcroft Justice Department then issued a gag order on her, but because of the serious nature of the situation she opted to tell her story to the London Times.
