SEOUL, March 3 Asia Pulse - The number of cars registered in South Korea exceeded 16 million in 2007, with a sharp increase in the number of imported vehicles, a government report showed Monday.
According to the report by the Ministry of Homeland and Maritime Affairs, the number of vehicles registered here amounted to 16.43 million at the end of last year, up 3.4 per cent or 533,000 units from a year earlier.
