Dow Jones lays future at info pros' feet

Information professionals can see the future after business information service provider Dow Jones launched a feed of calendar and real-time event data, aimed at financial professionals and private investors.
Users can customise the Dow Jones Calendar Live feed, which is designed to plug integrated calendar and real-time data into websites, portals and financial information platforms.
The XML-based service combines content produced by the Dow Jones editorial team and event information from AMI.
The Calendar Live feed is pure data, and events are updated in real-time A- in other words, as they happen. Dow Jones has no plans to make it XBRL-based.
