Virginia Western Community College lost its accreditation in June 2006, but nobody bothered to tell its students.
Now 59 of the current and former nursing students filed a suit against the school, claiming its failure to disclose the loss of accreditation constitutes fraud. They are seeking $350,000 apiece for a total of almost $21 million.
